Cuddledry Scoops Coveted Mumsnet Best

Cuddledry Scoops Coveted Mumsnet Best Award The clever Cuddledry baby bath towel, as seen on BBC 2's Dragon's Den, has this week bagged a much coveted industry award, having been named as a ‘Mumsnet Best Buy’, by the ‘Daddy of all Parenting Sites’.  Mumsnet – the country’s most popular meeting point for parents - hosts a number of product reviews but only select lines make it to the status of ‘Mumsnet Best’, and they are nominated by the most authoritative reviewers around – parents themselves!  Cuddledry has won heaps of praise from ‘mumsnetters’. It has been referred to as a “Fantastically simple yet brilliant idea”, has gained the thumbs up for making life easier - “Such a practical gift that doesn't just look good but actually works. It really does make it easier bathing a newborn when you've got a screaming toddler wanting your attention too!!” – and has been voted a great gift for new parents – “I buy them for friends as a gorgeous but actually really useful gift”.  Cuddledry is the brainchild of long-term friends, Helen Wooldridge and Polly Marsh, who recognised that bathtime is a struggle with slippery wet babies and not enough hands. Helen comments, “We were thrilled to receive the call to say that we have been made a ‘Mumsnet Best Buy’! When we started out two years ago we sent a Cuddledry towel to Mumsnet to get feedback on it. Our first review appeared on the site and was overwhelmingly positive, and since then we have received loads of great reviews from parents who love the towel.” Polly continues, “This award is particularly meaningful to us because as mums ourselves we have used Mumsnet and know what a great resource it is. It really means a lot to be recognised by the website and by fellow parents.”

Cuddledry’s apron design allows you to wear the towel so that both hands are free for safely bathing and lifting baby - simply cuddle your baby to your chest and wrap the snuggly fabric and cosy hood around them. It comes with single-handed easy-release poppers that allow simple removal before lying baby down on a changing mat, still snugly wrapped. To top it off, the double layer of supersoft organic cotton and bamboo fibre towelling means that you genuinely won't end up soaking wet!

This quality product has been developed to be environmentally friendly:  the minimal packaging is made from a mix of recycled and virgin pulp from sustainable forests; the organic unbleached cotton and bamboo fabric is free from pesticides and certified by OCIA International and the Control Union. The Original Cuddledry costs £24.99 and comes in a two-tone soft oatmeal and cream colour, natural white, and soft pink or blue - and a ‘mooti-ful’ new cowprint version has just been launched that costs £29.99. The towels are available from Mothercare, BabiesRUs, the National Childbirth Trust, countless independent retailers UK-wide, and of course www.cuddledry.com.

The Cuddledry towel is now used by thousands of parents, including a number of celebrities, and promoted by midwives.  It has won national awards for being both dad and mum-friendly, and most importantly, has revolutionised bathtime for a host of anxious parents.
