Cuddledry wins award from parent testers

The innovative Cuddledry baby apron bath towel, as seen on BBC 2's Dragon's Den, has received a Silver Award from Bizziebaby, the online review website where real parents put products on test.  Following a rigorous testing programme the Cuddledry came out on top with mums and dads, for making bathtime with a new baby easy and enjoyable – for parents and baby alike.

The original Cuddledry has won eleven coveted parenting awards in less than two years, because it makes life with a new baby so much easier.  It uses a clever, double-layered design to give parents two hands free to safely lift and wrap their baby after the bath, without getting a soaking themselves - keeping both baby and mum or dad calm and happy.  Made with luxurious organic cotton and bamboo fibre, the Cuddledry is a top quality product, and the Child Accident Prevention Trust says it ‘contributes to safer parenting’.   Cuddledry has won heaps of praise from the parent testers. It has been referred to as a “brilliant idea, easy to use and excellent quality”, and has genuinely made life easier for them. One tester commented: “My baby really loved his Cuddledry.  Normally he would cry every night when getting him out of the bath, but when using our Cuddledry towel he was not bothered at all because he would be nice and warm and we could dry him really quickly.”   Cuddledry is the brainchild of long-term friends, Helen Wooldridge and Polly Marsh, who recognised that bathtime is a struggle with slippery wet babies and not enough hands. Helen comments, “We were thrilled to hear that we have won this award from the parent testers at Bizziebaby. When we started out two years ago we never imagined that there would be literally thousands of parents bathing their babies with our product every evening, not only in the UK but all over the world!”    Polly continues, “This is particularly meaningful to us because as mums ourselves we went through tricky bathtimes, and are delighted to get an award direct from other mums and dads. It really means a lot to be recognised by the Bizziebaby website and by fellow parents.”

Cuddledry’s apron design allows you to wear the towel so that both hands are free for safely bathing and lifting baby - simply cuddle your baby to your chest and wrap the snuggly fabric and cosy hood around them. It comes with single-handed easy-release poppers that allow simple removal before lying baby down on a changing mat, still snugly wrapped. To top it off, the double layer of supersoft organic cotton and bamboo fibre towelling means that you genuinely won't end up soaking wet!

The Original Cuddledry costs from £24.99 and comes in a range of colours and designs. The towels are available from John Lewis, Mothercare, BabiesRUs, the National Childbirth Trust, countless independent retailers UK-wide, and of course www.cuddledry.com.
